Deaths of commanders spark new wave of purges

Russian Defense Minister Andrey Belousov is preparing a new wave of purges within the Ministry of Defense. This time, dismissals and arrests are expected to affect mid-level officers.

Axar.az reports that Russian Telegram channels have provided information on this matter.

Leaks from military circles indicate that the deaths of Sergei Gritsa (Ernest) and Dmitri Lisakovsky (Qudvin) have shocked the defense minister:

"Belousov explicitly stated that such commanders can expect nothing good. Therefore, there will be many arrests among the officials and mid-level commanders of the Ministry of Defense in the near future."

It is noted that investigations have been initiated into the deaths of Ernest and Qudvin, who were killed after criticizing the leadership.
