Latvian President injured in bicycle fall

Latvian President Edgars Rinkevičs broke his right wrist and left finger while falling from his bicycle.

Axar.az reports that the incident happened on September 28 when the Rinkevichs were riding a bicycle. After the fall, the head of state sought medical help, doctors identified his fractures and applied a plaster.

Adviser on public relations of the President of Latvia Martins Dregeris told journalists that the injury will not affect the work of the head of state, he can still write and sign documents.
