US embassy warns Americans to avoid crowds on election day

The US embassy in Georgia has sent emails to Americans in the republic, advising them not to go to crowded places on October 26, the day of parliamentary elections.

Axar.az reports that the warning states that rallies and actions can be held suddenly on the election day.

The embassy informs that in the past, rallies accompanied by police violence were held in Georgia, and it is not excluded that such cases will occur in future protests.

The diplomatic mission urged Americans to be vigilant in crowded places and stay away from places where protests are held.
