Medvedev: Russia-Georgia ties possible if Tbilisi agrees

If official Tbilisi wishes, Russia and Georgia can restore diplomatic relations. However, the ruling party of Georgia does not want it yet.

Axar.az reports that these words were said by the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev.

"Georgian authorities do not have any closeness to us. They have a different mindset. They don't even want to restore diplomatic relations. This is the work of the future. If they want, we will restore. However, it is possible to cooperate even without diplomatic relations," he said.
