The situation at the front in Ukraine is severe, and defense forces are forced to retreat, but at the same time, Russian troops are suffering heavy losses.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Ukrainian military expert Ivan Stupak on Radio NV.

"I think the collapse of the front is due to soldiers abandoning their equipment and munitions and fleeing. Yes, the situation is difficult now. Unfortunately, the Russians have recently seized more territory than they did in previous months. However, you should not say or assume that the front has collapsed. Unfortunately, Ukrainians are retreating. It’s not pleasant to hear," he said.

The expert emphasized that while Ukrainian soldiers are retreating, they inflict significant losses on the Russians.
