As of November 12, 2024, Russia has imposed temporary restrictions on the import of poultry meat and eggs from Turkiye’s Konya region.

Axar.az reports, citing TASS, that the relevant document was published on the website of "Rosselkhoznadzor."

It was noted that due to the worsening situation with highly pathogenic avian influenza in Turkey, the import of live poultry, incubation and food eggs, poultry meat, and all types of poultry products from Konya to Russia has been banned.

Additionally, temporary restrictions have been placed on poultry feed and feed additives (excluding plant-based, chemically synthesized, and microbiologically synthesized feed and additives).
