For the first time, Ukrainian Defense Forces have attacked Russian territory using ATACMS ballistic missiles.

Axar.az reports, citing "RBC- Ukraine" , that Ukrainian troops struck a military facility near the city of Karachev in Russia's Bryansk region, successfully destroying the target.

"Karachev is located near Bryansk, Russia, about 130 km from the Ukrainian border. During the night of November 19, 2024, units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, in collaboration with other components of the Defense Forces, launched an attack on the Ministry of Defense's arsenal in Karachev. As of 2:30 AM, 12 secondary explosions were recorded in the area," the report stated.

It should be noted that U.S. President Joe Biden has authorized Ukraine to use ATACMS missiles with a range of 300 km for strikes deep into Russian territory.
