The Israeli Knesset (parliament) has approved the government's proposal to extend the state of emergency in the country until the end of June.

Axar.az informs that Israeli media reported on this.

It was noted that after a closed briefing on the state of war with Iran, members of the Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee unanimously voted to approve the state of emergency declared by Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz and extended by the cabinet on June 15 until the end of the month.

"On June 17, the committee will hold another closed meeting with the participation of Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar," Israeli media wrote.
