Poland scrambles air force after Russian missile attack

Poland's air defense and radar reconnaissance have been brought to the highest level of readiness in response to an airstrike warning from Ukraine, and NATO aircraft have also been scrambled.

Axar.az reports that this was announced by the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces on social media.

According to the information, these measures were taken in connection with Russia's latest attacks on multiple targets, including western Ukraine. It was also reported that Polish and allied aircraft are participating in the protection of Polish airspace:

"The Operational Command of the Armed Forces is monitoring the situation, and the forces and units under its command are fully prepared for immediate response measures."
