Russia, through the Russian National Center for Nuclear Risk Reduction, warned the United States about the launch of the "Oreshnik" ballistic missile.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

He said that the warning was sent automatically 30 minutes before the release:

"The Russian side did not inform the United States about the launch of the Oreshnik in accordance with the agreements and in accordance with the notification regime for the launch of intercontinental ballistic missiles, because the Oreshnik is not an intercontinental strategic missile. It is a medium-range weapon."
