HSBC halts payments from Russia and Belarus

Britain's largest bank HSBC has announced that it has stopped accepting payments from Russia and Belarus.

Axar.az reports that the bank issued a statement about this.

Due to the new measures, payments from these countries may be rejected and funds refunded.

The bank did not disclose the reason for this decision and apologized for the inconvenience caused to customers.
