The Chinese government has criticized Germany's Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock.

Axar.az reports that this information was reported by "Bild."

The publication states that during Baerbock's visit to China, relations between Berlin and Beijing have only worsened. The German minister particularly accused China of supporting Russia in its war against Ukraine, noting that Beijing's economic and military assistance to Moscow contradicts European interests.

The Chinese government has rejected all accusations. A spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry stated that China had "repeatedly clarified its position" on the situation in Ukraine, and therefore, the words of the German Foreign Minister were "baseless accusations and political speculation."

"China Daily" wrote that Minister Baerbock should not use her visit as an opportunity to "lecture the hosts," and Beijing believes conflicts should be resolved "with flexibility and foresight, not with weapons and sanctions."

It was noted that after talks between Baerbock and China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi, a joint press conference was canceled because Beijing had no intention of tolerating Germany's actions.

It should be noted that Annalena Baerbock's visit to China on October 28 started with controversy. She was not greeted upon arrival, and later, it was explained that the lack of a reception was due to "the plane landing at the wrong airport."
