Putin's statement on the nuclear doctrine

We are not tightening the nuclear doctrine, we are improving it.

Axar.az reports that Russian President Vladimir Putin said this during his speech at the meeting of the Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights.

"In general, now we need to improve Oreshnik, not the nuclear doctrine. Sufficient Oreshnik actually eliminates the need to use nuclear weapons," he said.

Putin said that the availability of these modern weapons systems shows that there is no need to use nuclear weapons.

According to the president, that is why Russia behaves cautiously and even cautiously in all directions.
