120,000 Syrian refugees return from Turkiye

After the fall of the Bashar al-Assad regime, the return of refugees to Syria has increased. Only in the period from December 9 to 13, 7,621 refugees voluntarily returned to their homeland from Turkiye, and in total, during the 11 months of this year, this indicator was 121,695 people.

Axar.az reports that the Minister of Internal Affairs of Turkiye, Ali Yerligaya, informed about this.

According to the minister, the number of refugees from Syria in Turkiye is more than 2 million 938 thousand people, most of them are residents of Aleppo province.
