Donald Trump has nominated Richard Grenell, the former director of US National Intelligence, to be the president's ambassador for special tasks.

Axar.az reports that Trump wrote about this on his "Truth Social" network.

According to Trump, Grenell will have to work in the hot spots of the world, including Venezuela and North Korea.

It should be noted that Richard Grenell was also the US ambassador to Germany.
