Israel approves Golan heights plan

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government has approved the Golan Heights development plan.

Axar.az reports that the press service of the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel released information about this.

It was noted that the decision will strengthen settlements in the Golan Heights, including education, renewable energy, the creation of a student village, and an organizational development program that will assist the Golan Heights Regional Council in accepting new residents.

The office announced that 40 million shekels (about 19 million manats) will be allocated for the implementation of the plan. The goal of the initiative is to double the population of the Golan Heights
