Medvedev: Kidnapping Merz 'would not be unrealistic'

Former Russian President and Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev claimed that he could imagine operations to kidnap world leaders similar to the one carried out by the United States in Venezuela, explicitly mentioning German Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz.

Axar.az informs, citing Russian media, “The kidnapping of neo-Nazi Merz could be a remarkable twist in this carnival series,” Medvedev said, adding that such a scenario “would not be unrealistic.”

Without any evidence, Medvedev suggested there were grounds to pursue the chancellor on German soil.

“This would not be a waste of time, especially when citizens are suffering without reason,” the Russian official added.
