Axar.az reports that the news headlined "Azerbaijan will not send a peacekeeping contingent to Gaza" published by the influential Reuters agency, the US newspapers "US News", "The Straitstimes", "Econotimes", the "Global Banking and Finance" internet resource, as well as the international analytical portal "Al-Monotor" states that President Ilham Aliyev stated that Azerbaijani military personnel have not participated in any military operations outside the country and that this is not planned in the future. The material quotes the words of our head of state, who refuted the false information in this regard: "We have compiled an appeal consisting of 20 questions and delivered it to the American side. Until these issues are clarified, Azerbaijan's participation in any mission is not planned."
Leading Turkish media outlets also widely covered the interview given by the Azerbaijani President to local television channels.
