World War III is already near, or perhaps it has already begun, and humanity has just not realized it yet. The large-scale war in Ukraine, several fronts in the Middle East, and rising tensions in East Asia are either the prologue or the first stage of a global conflict.

It is noted that ten years ago, Russia and China, along with the U.S. and the EU, imposed new sanctions on Iran and North Korea.

However, today, Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea have formed an autocratic axis acting together against the Western world. 2014 is a turning point, when all four autocratic regimes unexpectedly saw minimal Western reaction to Russia’s annexation of Crimea and the occupation of part of Donbas. By 2015, Iran and Russia began jointly saving Bashar al-Assad's Hannibalist regime in Syria. Russia’s large-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022 formed a quadrilateral alliance between Moscow, Tehran, Beijing, and Pyongyang, where Russia receives economic or military aid from the other three to continue its efforts to destroy Ukraine. The West’s failure or unwillingness to prevent this cooperation further encouraged the Kremlin.
