Hamas and Israel have made progress in negotiations regarding a ceasefire and the release of Israeli hostages in Gaza.

Axar.az reports that this information was shared by Israel's "Ynet" , citing an unnamed senior Hamas official.

"There is unprecedented progress in the negotiations to bring about a cease-fire in Gaza and the release of Israeli hostages, a senior member of Hamas said on Sunday adding the the final decision is Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's to make. The source told that there are still disagreements about the number of hostages that would be freed and their identities adding that Hamas officials were asked not to leak any information about the negotiations," publication stated.
