Axar.az reports that this statement was made by the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze.

In a statement to journalists, Kobakhidze called Macron's words a lie and suggested that the French President direct his attention to Ukraine, which he described as "victimized and destroyed."

"The French President should look at Ukraine, which has been sacrificed to destruction. I am addressing the real issue. I cannot comment on lies. I am commenting on the problem everyone is facing, and that is the devastated Ukraine," said Kobakhidze.

It is worth noting that on January 6, Macron stated that Russia had become more aggressive toward its neighbors, citing the parliamentary elections held in Georgia on October 26, 2024, as an example. According to the French president, Russia tried to escalate tensions during the election process in Georgia.
