Iranian major killed at Pakistan border

The major of the border regiment, Qaem Vakili Mollashahi, has been killed in the Mirjaveh region of Sistan and Baluchestan province, which borders Pakistan.

Axar.az reports that this information was provided by the Border Guard Command of the province.

It was stated that the officer was killed during a one-hour shootout with drug smugglers.

Armed individuals reportedly fled the scene, leaving behind 400 kg of narcotics and numerous weapons and ammunition.
