U.S. President-elect Donald Trump said a meeting was being set up between him and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Axar.az reports that Trump made this statement in an interview with journalists at his residence in Florida.

"He wants to meet, and we are setting it up," Trump said.

When asked about the possibility of a trilateral meeting between him, Putin and Chinese leader Xi Jinping, Trump replied that this would be decided later.
