Iran questions West's stance on nuclear negotiations

If Iran truly wanted to develop nuclear weapons, it would have done so long ago. Nuclear weapons are not produced in internationally monitored facilities but in secret laboratories. Why did those who claim that the Islamic Republic is just days away from creating a nuclear bomb not welcome the nuclear negotiations aimed at delaying Tehran from obtaining nuclear weapons for at least 15 years?

Axar.az reports that these remarks were made by Iran’s Vice President Mohammad Javad Zarif during the World Economic Forum in Davos.

"After the U.S. withdrew from the nuclear negotiations, the Islamic Republic’s nuclear capabilities have increased. I hope Donald Trump will be more serious, attentive, and realistic this time," he added.

It should be noted that, according to the International Atomic Energy Agency, Iran possesses enough enriched uranium to produce four nuclear bombs.
