Former Major General of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, Andrei Golovatski, has been killed in the war in Ukraine.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the Mediazona portal.

It was noted that Golovatski served as the First Deputy Chief of Staff of the North Caucasus Regional Command of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. In 2019, he was sentenced to 8 years and 5 months in prison for bribery.

No details have been provided regarding when he was sent to the war or when he was killed.
