It is impossible to end the war until Vladimir Putin understands that he cannot win. He needs to be convinced that his goals are unattainable. This is the only basis for reaching a peace agreement.

Axar.az reports that this was said by Wesley Clark, a retired general of the US Army, and former commander of NATO's Joint Forces in Europe.

"It is still difficult to determine what the peace formula will be, and although the US special representative for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg, has formulated a vision, it is unacceptable to both sides. But this is how the negotiations are going. They will be formed based on the strengths of both sides," Wesley Clark said.
