Former President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili believes that after the conflict in Ukraine ends, Russia may launch a military aggression plan against Georgia and Armenia.
Axar.az reports that former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili expressed his opinion during a remote address at the Tbilisi City Court session.
According to him, after the conflict in Ukraine ends, Russia will not stop its military operations:
"Russia will need to conduct another military campaign, as without it, the Russian state will collapse. After the war in Ukraine ends, where will Russia intervene next? Probably not the Baltic states, as they are under NATO's protection, and President Trump would not allow that. Azerbaijan has a strong military, and Turkiye supports it. Kazakhstan is also an exception because of the influence of China, and Beijing will not allow this."
Saakashvili further emphasized that only two countries remain vulnerable – Georgia and Armenia:
"Armenia has not been able to stabilize its geopolitical relations with Azerbaijan and Turkiye and is very weak. It took the country a long time to determine its political orientation, and time was wasted. Georgia has been left unsupported, its military destroyed. Therefore, once the war in Ukraine ends, there will be a significant threat of complete military occupation of Georgia and, through it, Armenia."
