The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has banned pilgrims from bringing children with them during the 2025 Hajj season.

Axar.az reports that the decision was made to ensure the safety of children, given the large crowd caused by the large number of pilgrims every year. In addition, the ministry has issued several new decisions to ensure the safety of pilgrims to organize the Hajj season more smoothly.

The ministry also added that the main priority for participation in this season will be given to those who have not previously participated in the Hajj pilgrimage.

Registration for the 2025 Hajj season has now been officially announced for citizens and residents of Saudi Arabia. Pilgrims will be able to register through the “Nusuk” application and the official online portal.
