The highlight of La Liga’s 35th round will be played today, as fierce rivals Barcelona and Real Madrid go head-to-head in a crucial showdown.

Axar.az reports the highly anticipated match will take place at the Olympic Stadium, with kickoff scheduled for 18:15 Baku time today.

Barcelona currently lead the table with 79 points, while Real Madrid sit close behind in second with 75 points. A win for the Catalan side would extend their lead to 7 points, while a victory for Madrid would cut the gap to just 1, making this match potentially decisive in the title race with only four rounds left.

Both sides are dealing with notable absences ahead of El Clásico. Barcelona will be without Marc Bernal, Jules Koundé, and Pablo Torre due to injury. Real Madrid are missing David Alaba, Eduardo Camavinga, Dani Carvajal, Éder Militão, and Ferland Mendy, also through injury, while Antonio Rüdiger is suspended.
