Germany investigates Abramovich over sanctions

The German prosecutor's office has launched an investigation into Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich on charges of evading sanctions.

Axar.az reports that according to the information, a decision was made to seize Abramovich's villa in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, two Bugatti, a Mercedes-Benz, and a Lamborghini.

The cars, which are stored at a company specializing in vintage and sports cars in Oberzulm, are estimated to be worth several million euros.

In addition to the cars, officers from the Federal Criminal Police Office and the Central Office for Sanctions Enforcement in Garmisch-Partenkirchen searched Abramovich's villa and confiscated several works of art as evidence.
