American billionaire Elon Musk has supported the closure of state-funded media projects Voice of America and Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty.

Axar.az reports that he expressed his opinion by reposting a post by former US Director of National Intelligence Rick Grenell, in which he called these media outlets "a relic of the past" and "full of ultra-left activists."

"Yes, close them," Musk wrote, adding that Europe is now free, no one listens to these media outlets, and they "eat $1 billion a year from the pockets of American taxpayers."

Grenell accused Voice of America and Radio Free Europe of bias, claiming that these media platforms have become a playground for radical leftists.
