Small aircraft crashes in Russia, two dead

A small-engine RV-7 aircraft has crashed in Russia’s Nizhny Novgorod region.

Axar.az, citing Russian media, reports that there were two people on board, neither of whom survived the crash.

It was stated that the aircraft made a hard landing near the Vostochny airfield and caught fire.

According to reports, the injured pilot managed to inform the control tower about the fire immediately after landing.

The causes of the crash are currently under investigation.
