The current owner of Domodedovo Airport, Dmitry Kamenshchik, and the former head of the airport's supervisory board, billionaire Valery Kogan, have been banned from leaving the country.

Axar.az informs that the reason is that as a result of an investigation conducted by the Prosecutor General's Office, a large-scale scheme related to money transfers abroad was revealed. The airport management is investigating the illegal transfer of 18 billion rubles to foreign jurisdictions under the pretext of repaying loans.

It is planned to transfer the management of Domodedovo Airport to the Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviation).

The Arbitration Court of the Moscow Region, at the request of the Prosecutor General's Office, has already seized all assets of the Domodedovo group of companies. Rosaviatsia has gained the opportunity to manage the airport.
