Iran: Visit heralds new era in Azerbaijan-Iran relations

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has stated that his visit to Azerbaijan has opened a new page in bilateral relations.

Axar.az reports that he made this statement during a meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Khankendi.

Recalling his official visit to Azerbaijan and the meetings held with satisfaction, M. Pezeshkian emphasized that a new page has been opened in Azerbaijani-Iranian relations as a result of the visit. In this regard, he noted the increase in air flights between Baku and Tehran, Baku and Tabriz, the work being carried out on the construction of the Aghband-Kalala highway bridge, and touched upon cooperation in other areas.
