For Ukraine, it is not the emotional statements of US President Donald Trump that are important, but the practical steps he will take.

Axar.az reports that Ukrainian military expert Sergey Grabsky commented on the reduction of the ultimatum period of Donald Trump to his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin.

“Such emotional statements have been made before, are being made now, and will be made in the future. What is important for us is what practical steps will be taken next. When we see real changes, the imposition of sanctions against key Russian industries, the deployment of the US fleet in the Baltic Sea to stop illegal oil supplies, the closure of Russian diplomatic missions in the US, and the sharp restriction of visas for Russians, then we can talk about the practical implementation of what was said,” the expert said.

He emphasized that at the moment, this is just a game of nerves, because there is no practical reaction from Russia yet.
