US President Donald Trump expects Volodymyr Zelensky to return to Washington to sign an agreement on Ukraine's mineral resources.

Axar.az informs that the American leader spoke about this in an interview with Fox News.

In response to the host's question whether he expects Zelensky to return to Washington and sign an agreement on mineral resources, he said, "Yes, I think it will happen."

Earlier, NBC TV channel reported, citing sources, that the conclusion of an agreement on Ukrainian minerals will not be enough for the United States to provide military assistance to Kiev and resume the exchange of intelligence.

As noted, Trump wants Zelensky to change his attitude towards peace talks and show that he is ready to make concessions, including territorial negotiations.
