If Ukraine is not accepted into NATO, then it must have nuclear weapons.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, Alexei Goncharenko, in response to the statement of NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte that Ukraine's membership in the alliance is no longer under consideration.

"We do not have NATO, therefore we do not have nuclear weapons. The other option is an exception," the deputy added.
