The statement of the Turkish leader is an indication that Iran's positions are really influential in the development of the situation in the region.
Axar.az reports that these words were spoken by IAN analyst Kayhan Barzegar to Armenian media while commenting on Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan's words about expecting support from Iran on the Zangezur corridor issue.
According to him, this also shows that Turkiye and Azerbaijan take this issue seriously in their policy towards Iran and that it is a topic on the agenda in these relations:
"This shows that Iran's position is of great importance in opening that road and clarifying its format. However, I must note that Iran has not given up its positions and constantly raises this issue both in Tehran, Baku, and Yerevan, that the roads should be opened not by force, but within the framework of the sovereignty of the countries. I do not think that Iran will give up this red line under any circumstances. Of course, unless Armenia changes its position."
The expert noted that the main issue here is the "marking" of Iran:
"This shows that perhaps the main obstacle for Turkiye in this issue is Iran, and when the time comes, Iran will be at the table in the corridor talks."
It should be noted that Iranian experts are usually considered indirect exponents of the government's position.
