Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's visit to Lachin and his participation in the events dedicated to Azerbaijan's Independence Day are of great symbolic importance. The head of the Turkish state demonstrated to the whole world the inviolability of the historical unity of Ankara and Baku, and confirmed his determination to continue steps towards building a common future with Azerbaijan.

Axar.az reports that Turkish expert Mehmet Yuce stated this in an article published in the Sabah newspaper.

The expert noted that today Azerbaijani-Turkish relations are an example of unparalleled brotherhood and unity, covering all spheres of life, from trade to defense, from energy to education.

According to him, after the Victory in the 44-day Patriotic War, Azerbaijan has become an important power factor not only in the Turkic world, but also in the Caspian region, as a natural bridge between the east and west, north and south of Eurasia.
