Tractor hits mine in Kalbajar, one injured

A tractor struck a landmine in the Susuzlug village of Azerbaijan’s Kalbajar district, leaving one person injured.

Axar.az reports the incident occurred while road construction work was underway in the area.

The injured individual, 35-year-old Rashadat Asadov, was promptly taken to hospital where he received medical treatment. Doctors report his condition as stable.

The tractor belonged to one of the companies carrying out road construction in the district. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.

This marks the third mine-related accident in recent days. Similar incidents were recorded on May 30 in Aghdara and on May 31 in Goranboy, both resulting in injuries.
