Indian tourist apologizes for comments on Turkish women -

An Indian tourist, named Malik Swashbuckler, who is popular on social media has caused outrage in Turkiye after videos appeared on his channels containing sexually explicit and offensive comments about Turkish women.

Axar.az informs, according to Turkish media, in one of the videos, the tourist reportedly makes a sexual remark about a Turkish woman in Hindi and asks his viewers if he should rape her that night. Although the content was in Hindi and not immediately understood by many local viewers, Turkish social media users flagged the videos, leading to public backlash.

It is claimed that he used Hindi deliberately to avoid detection while in Turkiye.

There were later claims that Malik had been detained by Turkish police, but these reports remain unconfirmed.

On June 2, he shared a new video apologizing to the Turkish people and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for his actions, saying the videos were meant purely as a joke.
