Azerbaijan’s national airline, AZAL, is expanding its route network with the launch of flights between Baku and Tabriz starting June 15. Tickets will go on sale later today.
Axar.az informs according to AZAL, the new route will operate twice a week — on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Tabriz, known for its rich history, architectural landmarks, museums, and cultural heritage, will now be more accessible. The launch of the Baku–Tabriz–Baku route will boost travel opportunities between Azerbaijan and Iran and strengthen cultural and economic ties.
AZAL is also increasing the frequency of its flights to Iran’s capital, Tehran. The Baku–Tehran–Baku route will now run four times a week — on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
Tickets are available on the official website www.azal.az, via the airline’s mobile app, at AZAL ticket offices, and through accredited agents.
