Ukraine has been invited to the NATO summit to be held in The Hague on June 24-25, according to NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
Axar.az reports, citing RBC Ukraine, during a speech in Brussels, Rutte said that the Alliance supports the efforts of US leader Donald Trump to end the full-scale war in Ukraine.
"NATO's support for Ukraine is not about prolonging the war, it is about ensuring Ukraine can defend itself now and prevent any future aggression," he says.
In addition, the NATO Secretary General said that Ukraine has been invited to the NATO summit to be held in The Hague. During the meeting, member states will discuss huge increases in defense spending and Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
Rutte says Ukraine will be a topic of discussion at the summit.
