Matviyenko leads Russian delegation on Yerevan visit

The delegation led by the Speaker of the Federation Council of Russia Valentina Matviyenko is on an official visit to Yerevan.

Axar.az reports that the press service of the upper house of parliament has published a statement on this.

"The program of the visit includes Matviyenko's meetings with the country's leadership. In particular, a conversation with the Speaker of the Parliament Alen Simonyan is planned," the statement said.

It was noted that Matviyenko and Simonyan will also open the 39th meeting of the interparliamentary cooperation commission between Russia and Armenia.

Matviyenko will also participate in the 10th Russia-Armenia interregional forum.
