Two Armenian minors crossed into Azerbaijan

Armenia's National Security Service (NSS) has reported that two underage residents of the Syunik (Zangezur) province crossed into Azerbaijani territory after getting lost.

Axar.az informs this was reported by "Caliber" with reference to Armenian media outlets.

It was noted that residents of the Tegh (Dig) community — Karen Armenovich Jangiryan (born 27.06.2007) and Andrey Armenovich Gyagunts (born 13.01.2008) — accidentally crossed into Azerbaijani territory near the village of Aravus at around 01:20 a.m. on June 6, 2025.

The statement added that all necessary measures are being taken to locate the minors and ensure their return.
