US President Donald Trump has expressed his dissatisfaction with businessman Elon Musk.

Axar.az reports that Trump said that he supported Musk, but that he later changed his position and opposed the abolition of tax breaks for electric cars.

"I was very disappointed in Elon. I helped him a lot. He knew the inner content of the tax bill better than anyone sitting here. He had no problem with it at first. But when he found out that we wanted to reduce the benefits given to electric cars, he suddenly started objecting to it," Trump emphasized.

Musk reacted harshly to Trump's statements on the X page and accused him of lying:

"It's a lie! They never showed me that bill. That bill was passed immediately and at night, and members of Congress didn't even have a chance to read it."

In addition, Elon Musk took a slightly more harsh stance, noting that Trump played a significant role in his election as president:

"If it weren't for me, Trump wouldn't have won the election, and the Democrats would have taken control of the House of Representatives."
