Total losses in the war in Ukraine reached 1.4 million people: Russia lost 1 million, Ukraine 400 thousand soldiers.

Axar.az informs that this was reported in a comprehensive report by the US Center for Strategic and International Studies.

The report noted that since January 2024, Russia has lost approximately 1,149 armored combat vehicles, 3,098 armored personnel carriers, 300 self-propelled artillery pieces, and 1,865 tanks.

The losses of Russian equipment compared to Ukrainian losses were 5:1-2:1.

According to the report, Russia has lost five times more people in Ukraine than in all Russian and Soviet conflicts since World War II.

Russia's losses in Ukraine are 15 times more than in the ten-year war in Afghanistan and 10 times more than in the 13-year war in Chechnya.
