Finland’s foreign ministry has summoned Russia’s chargé d’affaires in connection with a suspected airspace violation that occurred yesterday.
Axar.az reports, according to Yle, the meeting is scheduled to take place today, Wednesday, but the ministry has not disclosed any further details. The chargé d’affaires serves as the deputy to the ambassador.
A Russian military aircraft is suspected of violating Finnish airspace on Tuesday afternoon off the coast of Porvoo. The Border Guard is investigating the incident.
