A nuclear scientist was reportedly killed in a drone strike on Tehran’s Gisha district.

Axar.az reports that in response, Iran launched missile strikes on Beersheba, Haifa, and possibly Tel Aviv, injuring at least 30 people and damaging infrastructure, including a Microsoft office and military communication facilities.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz stated that strikes would increase against “symbols of the regime” such as the Revolutionary Guard.

Meanwhile, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi met with EU officials in Geneva and said diplomacy could resume once hostilities cease.

IAEA chief Rafael Grossi warned the UN that a strike on Iran’s Bushehr nuclear plant could have serious regional consequences.
