Forest fires continue in the Şarköy districts of Turkiye’s Tekirdağ province.

Axar.az reports that the fire started on July 15 in an agricultural area and spread to the forested region.

To extinguish the fire, 15 airplanes, 19 helicopters, nearly 500 ground vehicles, and other equipment are involved in aerial and ground operations.

Due to the fire, residents have been evacuated from their homes.
